Description: The invention relates to a window frame for a box window, which has an interior window and an exterior window, and to a method for producing such a box window.
In the production of a box window, an outer window and an inner window are made of profile parts, which communicate with each other via a spacer profile, which forms the food box. Interior and exterior windows consist of a frame into which the casements are inserted.
To produce such windows many different profiles must be made and kept in stock. Since the inner window is usually designed larger than the outer window, in particular different frame profiles must be available for the production of the box window.
The invention is therefore based on the object to produce a window frame for a box window cost.
This object is achieved with a window frame according to claim 1 and a method for producing a window frame with the features of claim 9. Further developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the finding that also known post profiles can be used for the production of a box window, provided that they are used wisely. It is even possible to make the entire frame for a box window exclusively from post profiles. Here, a special profile for the window frame of the inner window would have to be provided. However, this frame profile for the inner window can be made in a simple manner when a known frame profile is cropped. When a window frame profile is cut through in the plane of the window panes or parallel to it, a profile is created that is optimally suited for the production of the frame of an interior window.
Such a cropped profile forms a very narrow frame. This allows an enlarged window area. In addition, the narrow window frame profile on the inner window allows unhindered turning of the outer wings inwards towards the inner window.
It is advantageous if the window frame profile is a plastic hollow chamber profile. By trimming the frame profile creates a U-shaped profile that can be postponed to a distance profile of the box. This frame profile preferably also has at least one plastic hollow chamber after trimming, which ensures good insulation of the window. It is particularly advantageous if the window frame profile and the T-profile are designed as hollow plastic chamber profiles.
Further, it is proposed that the frame has a spacing profile between the T-profile and the trimmed frame profile and abuts the T-profile with two mutually perpendicular contact surfaces on the spacer profile. The T-profile has a contact surface on the base pole and a contact surface on the cross member. These contact surfaces on one side of the T-beam are used to attach the T-profile to the distance profile of the chuck box, while at the opposite side of the window sash is attached.
In such a distance profile between the T-profile and the trimmed frame profile, the trimmed frame profile can be plugged onto the spacer profile. In particular, in the formation of the frame profile as a hollow chamber profile is formed after severing of the frame profile, a U-shaped receptacle into which the distance profile can be inserted.
Since the distance profile usually does not have exactly the width of the U-shaped receptacle, it is advantageous if the distance profile is narrower than the U-shaped receptacle and between the spacer profile and trimmed frame profile at least one glass block is arranged. Such glass blocks are known in window construction to match distances between a disc and a disc mount.
It is particularly advantageous if the T-profile and the trimmed frame profile are glued to the spacing profile.
A simple embodiment provides that the distance profile is a wooden plate. This wooden plate can be designed as a carpenter plate, for example, 19 mm and coated on both sides.
A special stability of the chuck box is achieved in that the spacing profile is reinforced with a flat profile. For this purpose, the spacer profile can be reinforced at the inner edge with a circumferential GRP flat profile.
Such frames, which are suitable for the production of a box window, can also be used for a simple window. Therefore, a window frame for a window with a frame profile and a perpendicular to the frame arranged spacing profile is proposed, in which the frame profile has a U-shaped receptacle, in which the distance profile is inserted. Such not belonging to the invention frame are produced as a particularly narrow profiles and allow a large glass surface.
The object underlying the invention is also achieved with a method for producing such a box window, wherein the outer window is made with a frame of a T-profile and for the production of a frame for the inner window, a window frame profile in a window pane level or in a parallel
